Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vextro Education platform, website, and tutoring services provided by Vextro Education Ltd ("Vextro", "we"). By creating an account or booking a session you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent or tutor account. Students under 18 must have an account created and managed by a parent or guardian.

2. Services

Vextro provides online GCSE tutoring, revision software, and progress-tracking dashboards. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing until the end of the current billing period.

3. Grade Guarantee

Our Grade Guarantee applies to students who attend at least 90% of booked sessions, complete at least 80% of assigned homework, and follow their AI study plan over a minimum 12-week period. Full eligibility and remedy terms are confirmed in writing at sign-up.

4. Payments and refunds

All fees are quoted in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable. Refunds are issued within 14 days of your first paid month on request. After this period, refunds are at our discretion.

5. Tutor conduct and safeguarding

All tutors hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and have completed Vextro's safeguarding training. Concerns about tutor conduct should be reported to safeguarding@vextroeducation.com immediately. See our Safeguarding Policy.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not share account credentials.
• Do not record sessions without explicit consent of all parties.
• Do not use the platform to harass, abuse, or discriminate.
• Do not attempt to access content you are not licensed to use.

7. Intellectual property

All revision notes, quizzes, flashcards, and curriculum content remain the property of Vextro Education Ltd and are licensed to you solely for personal study use.

8. Liability

Vextro is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where reasonable. You may close your account at any time from the Settings page.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
